Mrs. Livingstone’s 4th and 5th grade students recently had the exciting opportunity to tour Stroud's local restaurant Five Star BBQ's Food Truck, and it sparked some amazing creativity!
Now, in her art class, students are developing their own business plans, dreaming up unique food truck concepts, and designing their very own food truck displays. They are so excited to have the opportunity for this hands on, imaginative project!
🦋 Over the past month, students in Stroud High School’s Alternative Education class have been hard at work exploring the concept of symmetry and they had the perfect hands on project to bring it to life!
Using a butterfly science kit, students observed the incredible transformation from caterpillar to butterfly, seeing symmetry in nature unfold right before their eyes.
We’re so proud of their engagement and the real world learning happening every day in the classroom!

🇺🇸Stroud Public Schools hosted its annual Veterans Day Assembly in honor of the brave men and women who have served our country.
The Spirit of Stroud Marching Band and Stroud Choir gave outstanding performances, and we were honored to welcome Heather Britt-Davis as our guest speaker.
Following the program, a luncheon was provided for veterans. FCCLA, FFA, and Student Council members assisted during the assembly and helped serve during the luncheon. Parkview Elementary students helped make cards for the tables.
We extend our sincere thanks to all who have served our nation. 🇺🇸
🇺🇸🏈This Friday, November 14th, we will be honoring veterans by offering free admission to all who have served; active duty, retired, reserve, and National Guard at the 1st Round of the Football Playoffs!

Congratulations to the Spirit of Stroud Marching Band members who earned a position in the All-District Honor band! They auditioned last Saturday. We are proud of all the students who represented Stroud so well during auditions. These students will perform in the All-District Honor Band concert in January.

Mrs. Martinez’s Freshman English students recently visited The Outsiders House Museum in Tulsa as part of their study of S.E. Hinton’s classic novel, The Outsiders. After completing the book and a creative multi-genre project, students had the opportunity to explore the museum and experience the story’s setting firsthand!

🏈It’s Game Day! Tonight, the Stroud Tigers will travel to Luther to take on the Lions. Gates open at 5:30 PM, and kickoff is at 7:00 PM. Guests should park on the west side of the stadium and enter through the west gate. Admission is $7 for adults and $5 for students and seniors. 💙It's a GREAT day to be a TIGER!💙

REMINDER: Junior Class Parents & Guardians
An After-Prom meeting will be held in the HS Commons on Thursday, November 6th at 6:00PM. The meeting assists parents by gathering everyone together to network and begin to plan After-Prom. This year's Prom will be held at the high school on Saturday, April 18th from 8:00pm - 11:00pm. Please attend to help support the students. (After-Prom is an event hosted by parents and community members and it is NOT the responsibility of the school district.)
The Stroud Football team is partnering with the Stroud Food Pantry to collect frozen turkeys for local families in need this Thanksgiving season. In appreciation for each donation, the Stroud Tiger Football Team will provide a retired game day jersey to individuals who donate a frozen turkey! 🦃 Donations are due by November 21! Over the weekend, our Stroud High School Student Council attended the 85th OASC State Convention! They had an amazing time learning new leadership skills, meeting students from across Oklahoma, and showing off their Tiger pride! Great job representing Stroud!
