School physicals will be held tomorrow, May 6th. Physical paperwork was sent home with students today. Students entering 6th through 12th grade who plan to participate in athletics and or band are required to have a completed physical. There will be no make-up days. Students will need to get a physical completed with their primary care physician if missed. Please make sure the front and back of the first page are fully completed, signed, and returned with your student in order for the physician to complete the physical. Please contact the MS or HS office if you have any questions. There will be additional forms available on site.

🎶 The band and choir students were excited to welcome the 5th grade students to a special Music Fair! This event gave students a chance to explore the opportunities available to them as they move into 6th grade. The students tried out instruments, learned more about the choir opportunities as well as listened to the current members perform! We can’t wait to see them continue their musical journey with us next year!

⚾️ Baseball Senior Night⚾️ Tonight we will be recognizing our Baseball Seniors at 4:30PM at the Stroud Baseball Complex. Varsity will play Stratford at 5PM followed by JV! 🍎 Today we celebrate our amazing cafeteria team for Lunch Hero Day! They do so much more than prepare meals. They greet our students and make sure their nutrition needs are met everyday! . Thank you for your commitment, heart and the difference you make in our school! We appreciate you!

🎨 Stroud Alternative Academy students explored the art of pottery this past month, turning creativity into something they could hold in their hands. Each student chose a unique design and brought it to life through hands on work and imagination. In collaboration with the Stroud High School Art Department, students were able to use their kiln to complete the full pottery process. After shaping their pieces, they fired them, then returned to glaze their work in colors of their choice before a final firing. That final step is where the heat transforms the glaze, causing crystals to develop and burst into vibrant color, revealing the finished design in a surprising way!
