
Parkview Elementary wrapped up last week with festive Easter celebrations full of fun, learning, and laughter. Students enjoyed Easter-themed lessons, class parties, and the much-anticipated Easter egg hunts! Thank you to the amazing staff and volunteers for helping make the day so special for the students!











Stroud High School is proud to announce the Valedictorians and Salutatorian for the Class of 2025! These outstanding students have shown incredible dedication, academic excellence, and true leadership throughout their high school journey.
Dawson Szot has been named Salutatorian. He has been active in Marching & Concert Band, Choir, the First Bank & Trust Student Board, Academic Team, National Honor Society, and Student Council. After graduation, Dawson plans to earn a B.S. in Chemistry, Minor in Spanish, and pursue a career in internal medicine.
Kamden Bray has been named Valedictorian. She has participated in Softball, Basketball, Junior Chamber of Commerce, BPA, National Honor Society, Academic Team, and FCCLA. After graduation, Kamden plans to attend Neosho County Community College to play softball and pursue a career in Meteorology.
Sage Hightower has been named Valedictorian. She has been involved in Band (Drum Major), National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society, Choir, Junior Chamber of Commerce, Pom, Golf, Cross Country, Theater, Upward Bound, and CyberPatriot. After graduation, Sage plans to attend Rose State College to study Cybersecurity.
Laci O'Donnell has been named Valedictorian. She has been active in Varsity Cheerleading, Student Council, Junior Chamber of Commerce, and National Honor Society. After graduation, Laci plans to attend Northeastern State University and major in Elementary Education.
Erin Sellers has been named Valedictorian. She has been active in Pom, Oklahoma Honor Society, National Honor Society, Junior Chamber of Commerce, and Student Council. After graduation, Erin plans to attend Oklahoma State University to major in Business Administration.
Cash Wright has been named Valedictorian. He has been active in Basketball, Football, Track, Cross Country, Theater, Junior Chamber of Commerce, National Honor Society, and BPA. After graduation, Cash plans to attend the University of Central Oklahoma.

Tomorrow's MS Baseball game (4/21/2025) vs Wellston will be at Wellston beggining at 5PM.

Get ready for an action-packed day as Stroud hosts the 2025 Slowpitch Softball Districts tomorrow, Tuesday April 22nd, with the first game kicking off at 11am! The Stroud Lady Tigers will play at 12:30pm and 2pm! Come out for a great day of softball! 🥎



Parkview Elementary experienced a FALSE fire alarm which resulted in evacuation of the building. All students are returning to the building as there is no issue present.

Stroud FCCLA hosted a special Senior Luncheon in honor of the Stroud High School Class of 2025 and their guests.
Miss Oklahoma, Lauren Frost, joined them as their guest speaker. She shared an inspirational message about the power of being yourself in today’s society. Thank you Stroud FCCLA for hosting such a memorable event for the Stroud High School Seniors!






The Stroud High School Baseball game against Latta has been moved up to 1pm tomorrow, April 18th due to the weather.

Due to inclement weather, the Wetumka JH Baseball Tournament Bracket has been updated. The Stroud JH Tigers will play at noon today.



Due to the expected weather Chandler has canceled the MS track meet on Saturday, April 19th.

There will be no school on Friday, April 18th.


A group of Stroud High School history students had the opportunity to hear from Senator James Lankford today. He shared his personal journey to Congress and spoke about the importance of balancing family and career life along with how government works.
Students asked questions about policies and government processes that impacted their lives. He also took time to encourage students to set goals, stay focused on their education, be respectful, and to remember that they have a voice. Thank you for visiting and inspiring the next generation of leaders!
